Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be entrusted with bumper-to-bumper repairs and maintenance work on diesel trucks, including Volvo trucks and MAC vehicles. Your responsibilities will include engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and other hands-on mechanical work. However, engine rebuilds are not included in the scope of your duties.

Hard Skills

• Experience with diesel engines

• Knowledge of Volvo and MAC trucks (Preferred)

• Ability to inspect, repair, and diagnose diesel trucks

• Software experience

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail

• Problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tifton, Georgia.

Work Environment

You will be joining a small shop team consisting of 4 diesel technicians, 1 shop manager, and support from administrative and customer service staff, along with sales personnel. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 6 PM, with no weekend work required. The shop is clean and temperature controlled, providing a comfortable working environment.
