Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Custodian PT in Valdosta, Georgia
This position will be responsible for keeping the Valdosta Campus of Wiregrass Technical College clean and safe. Working as a team, you will perform custodial duties including interior cleaning and seasonal deep cleaning. Additionally, you will assist with event set ups, special projects and other tasks to keep the campus in excellent condition. In this position, you will be given staff development opportunities to grow and learn to better maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

SUMMARY OF WORKING CONDITIONS
- Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, Various types of light cleaning equipment.
- Working Conditions: Category I - High probability of exposure to hazardous chemicals/pathogens. This is a part-time position, therefore no overtime can be earned. Travel is rarely required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must be able to do the following: 1. Be able to withstand prolonged standing, bending, walking, and lifting of at least 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation 2. Be able to work flexible hours on occasion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to meeting all other minimum qualifications, the highly desired candidate will possess one or more of the following: Prior commercial custodial experience preferred. Experience operating small cleaning equipment preferred. Forklift certification a bonus.
