Department Summary

Teaching online, graduate level courses in Educational Leadership, Teacher Leadership, and Research Design. Additional responsibilities include leading and serving on doctoral dissertation committees, student advising, assisting with program coordination, leading program initiatives, maintaining scholarly productivity and engaging in service at the department, college and university levels.

Typical Allocation of Duties:

Teaching and scholarship - 80% Teaches classes and conducts/presents research in the employee's academic discipline.

Service - 20% Participates in service at the department, college, and university levels. ::: ::: ::: :::

• Terminal degree at the time of appointment in Curriculum, Leadership, Education Administration, or closely related field.
• Experience in P-12 leadership at building or central office levels.
• A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant's career stage.
• Ability to develop online courses and infuse technology in the delivery of instruction.
• Experience with research and/or scholarly or professional writing. ::: ::: ::: :::
