Job Description

Responsible in making sure whether production equipment is in good condition and fulfillment of production targets on Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Delivery and Cost requirement.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for signs of damage or wear

• Daily task planning, execution and follow up;

• Monitor KPIs of maintenance team and take actions to achieve the goals;

• Drive TPM in factory;

• Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical problems

• Repairing or replacing faulty electrical components

• Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards

• Collaborating with other maintenance team members to address cross-functional issues

• PM system maintain and improve preventive maintenance by regular data analysis;

• Responsible for safety, timely, cost-effective repair of equipment;

• Weekly/monthly report maintenance related key issues;

• Continuous improvement on the equipment (Technical, quality and economical);

• Manage and control cost of spare part, maintain spare part list for key/critical equipment;

• Lead and coach direct reports to handle daily work;

• Other tasks as required on the job agreed or appointed with direct manager.

• Experience on Siemens PLC or any newage PLC.

• Reading of diagrams and attend trouble shooting breakdowns.

• Able to read all mechanical drawings and able to attend high tonnage mechanical presses like gasket and coil presses.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.

• 3 - 4 years’ experience of maintenance engineer or supervisor.

• Strong problem-solving ability. Experience of TPM/PM.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and a focus on safety

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Experience of automation and digitalization is preferred.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 is preferred.

• Open minded, co-operative attitude, teamwork sprit.

• Show initiative, work systematically and goal oriented.

• Have good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

• Can work under pressure.
