Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in the Manufacturing industry. This role is Hybrid based in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, and will involve working closely with the Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in managing corporate records, entities, and a variety of contracts and agreements, particularly in relation to recent M& A activity.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary

• Manage and maintain corporate records accurately

• Handle various contracts and agreements

• Conduct comprehensive clean-up work related to recent Mergers and Acquisitions (M& A)

• Oversee the organization's corporate entities

• Use Case Management Software to keep track of all legal cases

• Apply knowledge of Corporate Governance in managing corporate entities

• Handle contracts responsibly, ensuring all agreements are in order

• Manage integration work related to M& A activity.

Requirements • Must have a bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field.

• Previous experience in a paralegal role within the manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Proficient in using Case Management Software to organize and manage legal documents efficiently.

• Demonstrated understanding of Corporate Governance practices and principles.

• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

• Must have a high level of integrity and ethical standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
