Our Solution Engineering team have specialist and industry knowledge to help our customers build their cloud journeys. In partnership with sales, we collaborate with our customers to inspire them with an innovative solution roadmap that drive outstanding benefits and ROI into their businesses. We deliver sustainable and efficient solution to industry specific challenges to elevate business efficiency to the next level.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Create Industry-Driven User Stories : Lead the creation of detailed user stories that demonstrate how Oracle solutions will address the client’s specific business challenges, focusing on industry relevance
Client Engagement : Thoroughly understand the client's strategic differentiators, operational model, product offerings, and company culture to identify their core business challenges and prospective opportunities
Design Tailored Solutions : Convert the identified business challenges into desired process flows that leverage Oracle’s suite of solutions, ensuring alignment with industry-specific needs
Develop Model Systems : Collaborate with technical teams to build model systems that reflect the designed solutions, ensuring these systems are aligned with the client’s operational and strategic goals
Present and Demonstrate Solutions : Clearly fashion and present the proposed Oracle solutions to clients, showcasing their potential impact on the client’s business processes and overall performance
Collaborate with Sales Teams : Work closely with the sales team to ensure that the proposed solutions are effectively communicated
Lead Team : Build, mentor, and lead a pre-sales team focused on driving the industry-driven product proposition, encouraging a culture of client-centricity
Engage in Continuous Market Research : Stay updated on various industry trends, keeping track on relevant challenges on strategic and operational level
Drive complex X-pillar opportunities for industries and focus on strategic accounts
Leads, coordinates, delegates, motivates Oracle colleagues (solution engineering, consulting, education, support, end user adoption services) and / or partners to realize the Oracle footprint for the Customer
Able to showcase the total industry value proposition – with focus on industry value and relating it to CxO level business pains/issues
Communicates and presents with authority, inspiration and conviction whilst being adaptable with a can-do attitude
WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED?
Industry Experience: Experience in a senior role within a specific industry, bringing a deep understanding of industry dynamics, best practices, and the ability to align technology solutions with real-world business needs
Solution Design Expertise: Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and design comprehensive solutions that align with business objectives, leveraging a deep understanding of business processes and industry challenges to create impactful, tailored solutions.
Cross-Functional Business Acumen: Broad understanding of various business functions, and the ability to design complete solutions that address the interconnected needs of different areas within business
Leadership: Proven experience in building and leading high-performing teams, with a focus on collaborative and transparent work environment
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business problems, identify key pain points, and design solutions that address both strategic and operational needs
Storytelling: Strong storytelling skills, capable of orating complex concepts and solutions in a simple yet compelling manner that resonates with stakeholders
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas, influence decision-makers, and build strong client relationships
Problem-Solving: A strategic thinker with a passion for solving industry-specific challenges, using creative approaches to deliver value-driven solutions
Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a proactive attitude towards learning and new challenges
Client-Centric Mindset: Committed to understanding and prioritizing client needs, with a focus on delivering solutions that drive measurable business value and long-term success
Collaboration: Excellent team player who works effectively across different teams and departments, building strong partnerships
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
8 years of experience in a senior role within a specific industry with proven track record of advising customers on decisions and direction to take
5 years of experience in consultative selling, pre-sales and/or implementation of large-scale enterprise transformation projects
Good knowledge of X-pillar business applications (ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM, CX) and how they fit/support industry objectives
Understanding of Oracle--s Cloud strategy and the SaaS marketplace
Sales methodology knowledge, including consultative value selling. Negotiation skills are a plus,
Masters degree or equivalent desirable. MBA is a plus.
Fluent in English (Dutch, German and French are a plus)
Travel within Netherlands and Belgium is required, approx. 50% of time.
+5 of years international first level management experience with demonstrable results in top level management and business growth.
