Customer Service Representative - Full Time - Days

Job Summary
The Customer Service Rep is responsible for greeting, referring and directing patients, family, visitors, business customers and all others entering the main Bennett Street Reception area. The Customer Service Rep will perform some scheduling, cashier and registering functions, as needed. Customer Service role model.
Core Job Responsibilities
Greets all patients, family members, visitors, business customers and any others presenting at the Bennett Street Reception area in a prompt, professional manner.
Researches visitor’s needs before directing them so as not to direct them based on incomplete information.
Acts as a role model in all aspects of customer service and is pro-active in greeting all guests
Escorts patients, as needed, providing coverage before leaving work station
Maintains wheelchair availability
Maintains knowledge of all special events in order to greet guests appropriately
Collects and posts payments on patient accounts
Cooridinates with ancillary departments, as needed, in special patient circumstances
Maintains a neat and clean reception desk area
Education/Experience Requirements
REQUIRED:
High School Diploma
Strong customer service and communication skills required with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
Must be able to work with general office equipment.
PREFERRED:
- Medical Office experience
Licensure/Certification Requirements
PREFERRED:
- Medical related professional Certificate
