Suny Polytechnic Institute Assistant / Associate Professor of Psychology in Utica, New York

Description of Duties:

  • Specific duties will include teaching three courses per semester, in addition to maintaining an active research program. During the first two years of the appointment, it is typical to have a reduced teaching load of two classes per semester, providing an opportunity to establish a research program and develop courses. This reduced course load may continue pending research productivity. Faculty may also use funds from externally-sponsored research programs to reduce their teaching loads.

  • Other responsibilities include contributing to the assessment and continued development of Psychology courses and contributing to the University community through committee service and other activities.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $85,000

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Psychology or closely related discipline from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized organization
