Anchovy Social is a is a rooftop bar from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, inspired by the coastal spirit of our sister restaurant Maialino Mare downstairs. It's the go-to for year-round waterfront vibes, after-work spritzes, and the occasional seafood tower. Adjacent to the bar is a private events space offering the same rooftop views, outdoor space, and its own private bar. Anchovy Social is open late and on weekends.

As a Bartender, you are key in ensuring great beverages and service during our guests’ experience in Anchovy Social. We are looking for dedicated team members who are invested in welcoming our guests into an incredible and memorable experience.

Maintain and demonstrate a mastery of our food and beverage menus
Maintain a mastery of all duties including prep, storing, cash handling, inventory, cleaning, and maintenance
Follow procedures for all recipes and techniques
Know and follow all safety standards

The ideal candidate will possess:
2-3 years bartender experience in a similar environment
Previous experience with restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems
A good understanding of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails
Strong bartending technical skills
Current Food Handlers Certificate
Open availability and a career mentality
