Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager to join a program providing critical network operations and maintenance services for our government customer. The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) IT systems and services.

Essential Job Duties

• Experience developing project plans with forecasts, estimates, and resources.

• Experience with developing and delivering project reports and communicating and coordinating team members.

• Experience in managing complex IT-projects valued over $2 million and/or affecting 1,000 or more customers in the past 10 years.

• Responsible for development and implementation of assigned projects; takes projects from original concept through final implementation.

• Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.

• Defines project scope and objectives; develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.

• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

• Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

• Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team; recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or an IT related discipline.

• Active DoD Secret clearance

• 10 years of related experience with three (3) or more years of hands-on experience managing complex IT-projects valued at over $2 million and/or affecting 1,000 or more users in the past 10 years.

• Possess a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• IAM Level II certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting INDOPACOM customers is ideal.

Work Environment

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

• Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
