Maintenance Mechanic (FULL-TIME)

Pay Rates

· Earn up to $36.00 per hour + plus additional premiums for optional certifications

In a typical day, you’ll:

  • Electrical troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving technical problems.

  • Specialist in Electrical, Mechanical, PLC or Refrigeration.

  • Hands on practical test of Electrical, Mechanical, PLC or Refrigeration.

  • Follow and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, such as Lock out/Tag out, Confined

  • Space, Hot Works and Arc Flash at all times

  • Answer radio calls

  • Assist at all times with keeping the plant running as smooth as possible while working on PM and maintenance projects

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment scheduled through PMC.

Position Qualifications:

• Two or more years of technical training or equivalent

• Two years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.

• Able to weld steel, stainless steel and sanitary weld helpful. MIG, TIG

• Knowledge of basic tools used in bakery production environment

• Knowledge of drive chains, sprockets, conveyor belt splicing

• Able to read and interpret manuals and technical drawings

• Forklift certification, sit down, standup, aerial, and pallet jack.

• Observance and verbal testing of General Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Able to pass level A Maintenance Mechanic skills test

Physical Requirements:

• Able to tolerate dusty and wet conditions and occasional exposure to Zero degree temperatures

• Medium work – exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.

Hourly Rate:

Minimum Starting rate $32-36/hr.
