Job Title: Field TechnicianJob Description

Working in partnership with public and private sector clients, you will provide services in a variety of industries, including schools, facilities, and retail customers such as Walmart, conducting testing for water, land, and air.

Responsibilities

• Clear storm water infrastructure

• Clear drains of debris

• Remove invasive species

• Report writing

• Repair stormwater infrastructure

• Detention and retention basins

• Take water samples near water treatment facilities as part of facilities maintenance

• Record data on a tablet

• Respond to job site requests on an as-needed basis

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Urbandale, Iowa.

Work Environment

Supporting retail big-box stores and commercial settings. Mostly field work with one office day a week for time keeping and expenses. Work in teams of two people. Travel is required from Monday morning to Thursday afternoon or Friday morning, with paperwork completed on Fridays. Occasional work hours range between 50-60 hours a week, typically 40-50 hours a week, traveling within Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois.
