US Tech Solutions Sr Buyer in Urbana, Ohio

Job Description:

  • Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.

  • Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.

  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • May report to an executive or a manager.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1-3 years buying experience (preferably in Aerospace but not required).

  • Experience working with SAP.

  • Ability to work within a team environment, self-starter).

Education:

  • May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
