GE Healthcare Radiochemistry Team leader in Uppsala, Sweden

Job Description Summary

Activities contributing to the design and development of radiochemistry and related systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution and are focused on the execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but are guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

  • Management of a team of people covering several DAWs within the family

  • A position at this level requires a people leader with ability to hire and develop talent and includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. At this position you are utilizing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline, analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy

  • You have knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; You are aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  • You use solid judgment and have the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles

  • You use technical experience and analytical thinking

  • You use multiple internal and external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions

  • You act as a resource for colleagues with less experience

  • You may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements

  • You explain information and developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field

  • You convey performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Design Engineering Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience)

  • Fluent in English
