Prospira America Corporation Quality Control Technician in Upper Sandusky, Ohio
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- Perform assigned routine inspections, analysis and/or tests on materials, goods in process, or finished goods where results are compared with company quality standards. Report results to applicable personnel.
- Perform 1^st^ piece inspections and in-process audits regarding the use of correct materials, methods, devices.
- Follows documented manufacturing work instructions.
- Perform SPC methods; evaluate data, data entry of miscellaneous quality statistics, figures and reports.
- Train hourly associates, subcontractor personnel and temporary help personnel as required.
- Filing as necessary.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing assigned goals and targets.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have math aptitude to allow performance of SPC functions and analysis of related data.
- Computer literacy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work well and communicate with others.
- Possess the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) years' experience in a manufacturing or quality work environment.
