The State Group is seeking a Sales Project Manager based at our Welch and Rushe Division in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.This opportunity will provide immediate once-in-a-lifetime career learning and growth, as well as future promotional opportunities for Mechanical Project Managers within The State Group. Welch and Rushe have been in operation for over 50 years as a full-service mechanical company specializing in comprehensive HVAC and plumbing construction services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Seek out new customer relationships and manage existing relationships with a high level of trust and care.
  • Organize and maintain accurate project documentation for easy reference.
  • Cultivate positive client relationships by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership, management, operational, and accounting staff to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions and customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, mechanical engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in sales with at least 3 years in HVAC/Plumbing service sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Procore and Sage.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
