Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Digital Innovation Principal Cognitive Software Engineer. This is a remote/telecommute position and will support the Strategic Defense Systems (SDS) Division.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop software to perform analyses and interactive visualizations.
Apply principals of knowledge representation to design and implement ontology-driven data integration pipes.
Develop, enrich, and maintain complex knowledge graphs.
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
5 Years of experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with large-scale data management (Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
Familiar with Neo4J and graph databases
Experience with machine learning strategies
DevOps experience (Continuous Integration, Containerization)
Cloud experience (Amazon, Azure)
Agile software development practicesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/Travis/CircleCI
Experience with design and development of database technology such as SQL, NoSQL, and Graph databases.
A working knowledge of graph data structures and graph algorithms
Ability to communicate effectively with team and customers
Strong written communication skills
Self-directed when situation requires (open to research tasks and open-ended problem solving)
Active Top Secret DOD clearance with adjudication in the last 6 years

Salary Range: $92,200.00 - $138,400.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
