The Aeronautics Systems - Sector Cost Management Financial team is looking for an energetic, highly seasoned financial analyst to assist in the standup of the newly developed Sector Financial Team. The Sector Financial Team directly supports the AS Cost & Schedule Management Divisions and Programs supporting common tools and processes along with being a direct advisor to the Financial Teams. This position is a full time remote opportunity.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops, maintains, and updates common processes; supports the development of tools directly related the Cost Management Financial Teams

  • Effectively liaise with stakeholders across multiple functions, particularly communicating financial information to a broad audience with differing needs

  • Leads, coordinates, facilitates special projects related to financial functions

  • Develops and provides interactive and hands-on and training to the Cost Management Finance teams

  • Acts as an advisor to the Cost Management Finance Teams; provides guidance, problem solves, and conducts in-depth research on complex financial related topics

  • Briefs financial related topics, recommendations, and solutions at multiple levels (CFOs, VPs, Controllers, Peers)

  • Coordinates and supports audits between Sector and the Divisions (SOX, Internal Corporate Audits, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with 13 years’ experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 15 years' proven experience in business, finance, accounting, program control and/or similar industry related fields

  • Experience with financial forecasting and modeling related to the key financial planning metrics: awards/backlog, income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows

  • Understands the financial estimates at complete / profitability package process

  • Understanding of labor accounts (Operations/Manufacturing and Engineering), subcontract management, and general procurement

  • Advanced excel skills to support the development of complex tools and reports for analysis and deep dives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in financial forecasting and modeling related to the key financial planning metrics: awards/backlog, income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows

  • 5+ years' experience developing Long Range Strategic Planning (5 Year planning) related to the key financial planning metrics

  • Experience in developing and reviewing financial estimates at complete / quarterly profitability packages

  • Experience in Earned Value Management andworking with external customer reports (IMPR/IPMDAR, Contracts funds status reports, and other cost/financial customer deliverables)

  • Experience with budget, rates, and overhead management

  • Basic understanding of taxes

  • Detailed orientated with ability to spot financial trends and anomalies

  • Ability to perform under minimal direct guidance and achieve job objectives with significant degree of independence

  • Excellent written and communication, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills

  • Experience in SAP and/or Oracle Hyperion Planning/Essbase for Financial forecasting (IFAS), Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)

Salary Range: $117,200.00 - $175,800.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
