JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Drew Lab (https://www.drew-lab.org/) in the Center for Neural Engineering (https://www.cne.psu.edu/) (CNE) at Penn State is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to work on neurovascular coupling in rodent models. The successful candidate will perform optical and electrophysiological experiments on mice, analyze the resulting data, and write up the results for publication.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in science, engineering, or a closely related field by the appointment start date. In addition, familiarity with Matlab is required. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot scientific problems. Experience with optics, electrophysiology, or mouse surgery is preferred.

Additional Information:

This is a term appointment, funded for one year from date of hire.
