JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Donor and Member Services office within the Division of Development and Alumni Relations seeks to hire four part-time gift processing specialists. The duration of the assignment is expected to be approximately four months and is anticipated to commence the beginning of November. Projected hours will be approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility permitted between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. However, the number of hours may vary depending upon available tasks.

Position responsibilities include maintenance and update of the Division's database including: the accurate identification of constituents; the recording of gifts; and updating biographical information. These positions will also assist with opening and preparing mail, data cleanup projects, and other tasks as assigned. Attention to detail, ability to reconcile discrepancies, good time management, and the ability to follow written procedures are required. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
