NBC Universal Manager, Finance in Universal City, California

The Finance Manager will support our Los Angeles Duopoly Stations: KNBC and KVEA. FP&A

Responsibilities

Participate in the annual budgeting and strategic planning process

Responsible for monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis

Prepare periodic financial reports evaluating and interpreting the company's financial performance Maintain the company's current year opex budgets and forecasts

Work with operational leaders to improve the operations and business Identify and recommend spending and investment alternatives across all operational areas

Perform ad hoc analyses and support overall finance function

Assist with expense and capital / fixed asset tracking

Ad hoc strategic analysis and research Accounting/Operational Responsibilities

Manage all close related activities

Review monthly / quarterly accruals

Prepare account reconciliations for any assigned accounts

Prepare and post monthly journal entries to SAP as needed

Solve operational and business-related financial issues

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Excel and MS Outlook experience

5+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting

Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a complex system and business integrated environment Inherent interest in operational efficiency and maximizing financial performance

Salary range: $85,000 - $115,000.
