We are seeking a dynamic Coordinator, Marketing and Analytics to join our team. This hybrid role blends creative content development with strategic data analysis, supporting both Universal Talent Development & Inclusion’s (UTD&I) Marketing and Strategy & Analytics teams and will report directly to the Sr. Director, Strategy & Analytics.  

Universal Talent Development & Inclusion (UTD&I) brings together talent strategies for NBCUniversal Studio Group’s workforce as well as Film’s production crews designed to elevate the skills and exposure of our people, while fostering an inclusive work environment. 

The Sr. Director, Strategy & Analytics, leads initiatives to integrate data-driven DEI strategies across Universal Pictures, Focus Features, and DreamWorks Animation, fostering authentic representation to align with global audience expectations. 

The Sr. Manager, Marketing for UTD&I drives comprehensive internal and external marketing strategies, leading the execution of social media campaigns and overseeing high-impact event coordination at major festivals and conferences. Additionally, they provide strategic design leadership to ensure a cohesive and unified brand presence across all UTD&I initiatives, aligning with overarching department goals and enhancing visibility. 

The position plays a critical role in advancing talent development and inclusion initiatives, ensuring that data-driven insights and innovative content strategies inform marketing efforts and internal messaging. 

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a data enthusiast who thrives on identifying trends and optimizing processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Marketing Support 

  • Support Marketing efforts across social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, to support the development and execution of engaging campaigns.  

  • Help create high-quality content, including text, images, videos, blogs, and captions, to enhance brand visibility and engagement. 

  • Use tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Insights to track campaign performance, providing actionable recommendations to optimize future efforts.  

  • Design visually appealing graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools. 

  • Write and edit compelling marketing materials, ensuring consistency in brand messaging set out by the Marketing lead.  

  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, adapting strategies accordingly. 

  • Oversees the organization and archiving of departmental assets, serving as point of contact for all asset-related requests and ensuring seamless access and management across the UTD&I team.  

  • Provides support in maintaining and updating the department’s Marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with key initiatives and timely execution of marketing and event activities. 

Data Analytics and Process Improvement 

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to inform decision-making for inclusion programs and content development.  

  • Manage reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to present insights clearly to stakeholders. 

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend streamlined processes to enhance workflow and data management.  

  • Supporting the Sr. Director in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data insights with marketing strategies and broader inclusion goals. 

  • Explore and recommend innovative tools or technologies to optimize data operations, such as Airtable and coding solutions (e.g., Python, R).

Collaboration and Strategic Alignment 

  • Work closely with both Marketing and Strategy & Analytics leads to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment of data-driven campaigns.  

  • Contribute to initiatives that promote talent development and inclusion, ensuring that marketing and analytics efforts reflect these priorities. 

  • Partner with department leads to create storytelling opportunities supported by compelling data insights.  

Basic Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or analytics.  

  • Proficiency in social media platforms (META tools, Sprout Social) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights). 

  • Intermediate skills in Excel for data manipulation (e.g., power query, pivot tables, formula usage [Xlookup], etc.), visualization (e.g., charts, graphs, dashboard creation, etc.), and methods of reporting. 

Desired Characteristics: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.  

  • Experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives is a plus. 

  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Power BI, Airtable, or coding (Python, R) is highly desirable.  

  • Strong creativity and attention to detail. 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.  

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

  • Adaptability to switch between creative and analytical tasks seamlessly. 

Additional Requirements: 

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
