This individual will lead our current Business Development Managers in the OBL/ASC market to help drive our sales and grow the business. This position will assist with new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include supporting the sales team on new business models, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. This new position will work with various departments and report to the VP of Sales, Philips Procedural Solutions.

The position will require the candidate to have high level of knowledge of current and future Interventional Solutions programs and how these programs function closing deals and achieving customer/Philips satisfaction. The job will require 75% travel and can be based in any North American market.

You are responsible for:

  • Build the foundation of this business (25%)

  • Implementation of new sales strategies and processes.

  • Executing sales messaging and sales tools that are designed to deliver results

  • Coaching and developing new hires and existing BDMs sales reps

  • Supporting and maintaining impactful KOL relationships

  • Sell the existing solution (75%) Meet sales objectives by quickly qualifying opportunities and moving deals through the sales process

  • Develop a deep expertise in customer needs with a focus on solution selling that brings the entire Philips portfolio into play

  • Assist with the Business Development Managers while managing and coordinating across the numerous Philips businesses and sales teams as well as 3rd party collaborators

  • Guiding the customer through the entire process, not just the purchase of equipment

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • BA or BS in Business – and/or/education/experience equivalence

  • Previous successful related experience, including 5 plus years of related industry experience, 5 years of which included a successful track record in customer relationship and account management in the appropriate industry segment.

  • A track record of proven success

  • Strong business acumen

  • Ability to solution sell, think creatively, and uncover unmet customer needs that relate to the customers criteria of success and expand far beyond the use and capabilities of medical equipment or devices

  • Proven selling and customer relationship management skills with the ability to navigate a complex sales process to include stakeholders / partners.

  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge, with the confidence to knowledgably engage key stakeholders such as physicians, clinical staff, nurses, department managers and supply chain to present value proposition

  • Professional presence that influences desired results with both external and internal stakeholders

  • Ability to effectively manage assigned accounts in terms of driving utilization, customer relationship management, problem resolution, and business planning.

  • Proven effective verbal, computer, written and presentation/communication skills.

  • Ability to use communication methods and strategies that influence desired results at senior levels within the assigned Accounts.

  • Ability to quickly adapt and respond to job, environmental, and industry changes.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to travel 75%
