The Janitorial Maintenance Technician works under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor to perform janitorial services in assigned FCCAA Facilities.  The Janitorial Maintenance Technician maintains facility cleanliness.  This includes cleaning floors and carpets, servicing, cleaning, and supplying restrooms, and ensuring the proper containment and/or disposal of garbage and waste/spills.  Additionally, the Janitorial Technician vacuums, dusts, and cleans offices and central areas and monitors building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking appliances/electrical items to ensure no hazards exist.  This role may also assist with light building repairs and help with setting up facilities for Agency and community events.  The ideal candidate for this role has prior commercial cleaning experience.  This role also requires the ability to plan and organize daily work.
