As a member of Lockheed Martin’s Trident Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Submarine Navigation System team, your efforts will be an integral part to ensuring that our delivered product meets this requirement.

THE WORK

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team. The Scrum Master is critical role acting as a servant leader helping to drive the delivery of diverse and complex, cross-functional and technical solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Coach and help Teams embrace Agile core values, adopt and apply agile principles, implement agile practices and follow ART level guidance's

- Work with Product owners to align teams with the product vision, Iteration goals, PI Objectives and other necessary information

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and Ad-hoc sessions based on team needs

- Assist the PO and Team in preparation for ART activities which includes - PI Planning and Systems Demos as part of Inspection and Adaption

- Support the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and ART level sessions on behalf of Team

- Champion continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity

- Able to translate agile metrics and help team understand various metrics

- Work with RTE/stakeholders to accurately report team progress, risks, successes, and failures

- Facilitate Internal communication and effective team collaboration that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts

- Support and coach Product Owners in creating and maintaining the teams product backlog, refinement and prioritization

- Ensuring deliverables/work items are up-to date by closely working with team

- Follow guidelines provided by ART and help ensure teams work toward some of the core principles of collaboration, transparency, prioritization, team accountability and visibility

- Help build a productive environment and guide development team to increase in agile maturity

WHO YOU ARE

You are a Scrum Master with a deep understanding of Agile frameworks, principles and practices. You have knowledge of engineering development lifecycles and understand what it takes to deliver a product.

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master

- Proficiency in using Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Atlassian Suite, Azure DevOps, and other similar tools

- Ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of engineering lifecycles and processes

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience working with cross functional teams

- Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Release Train Engineer

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $64,400 - $123,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $74,000 - $139,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
