Description Robert Half is seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Accounting Consultant to assist our client in the logistics industry. This exciting role involves supporting a critical implementation of CargoWise, identifying areas for customization in the accounting module, bridging the gap between accounting and IT operations, and establishing streamlined standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluating the current state to identify customizations needed in the accounting module to make it more efficient.

Acting as the vital link between accounting and IT functions, ensuring clear communication and consensus on project goals and methods.

Creating effective standard operating procedures to ensure smooth and accurate accounting operations.

Delivering thorough, user-friendly training to staff members on new systems and procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in an accounting or financial role; prior involvement in the logistics industry is highly desirable.

Proven experience with CargoWise implementation and customization is essential.

Strong ability to liaison between different functions such as accounting and IT.
