Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be part of the Logistics and Operations department, supporting the handling of heavy appliances. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Union City, CA

Pay Range: $18.00/hr MAX

What’s the Job?

1. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading heavy appliances, checking merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.

2. Read customer and work orders to determine items to be moved, distributed, or shipped.

3. Ensure the warehouse is safe and accessible for employees and customers.

4. Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.

5. Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring loads arrive on time and in good condition.

What’s Needed?

1. Basic written and verbal communication skills.

2. Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds.

3. Experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.

4. Experience loading and unloading heavy appliances or large items.

5. Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners.
