Job Summary

The Medical Laboratory Technician is accountable for performing routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) required upon hire.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Upon hire

  • Medical Laboratory Technology certification from the American Society Clinical Sciences (ASCP)

  • Within 90 days of hire

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Work Schedule

  • Varied Shifts; PRN

  • Weekend Call: One weekend every 3 months

  • Holidays: every fourth rotation

  • On-call time weekdays as needed

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $22.00 - $31.75 per hour
