The University of Texas at Dallas Student Counseling Center ( SCC ) is seeking four full-time counseling providers (e.g., psychologist, LPC , LCSW ). While all staff are currently providing services 100% remotely via telehealth, once SCC staff return to the physical counseling center, this position may be housed in the counseling center or one of our satellite offices (e.g. residence halls).

Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited program and clinical independent licensure in the state of Texas before start date; OR doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited Program and licensure as a psychologist within the first year of employment
1 year of related experience
Demonstrated experience providing services to members of marginalized populations
Commitment to equity and inclusion of people of diverse, intersecting identities
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals
Strong clinical skills and ability to maintain up to date and accurate documentation
Preferred Education and Experience:
Licensed in Texas
Previous experience in a university/college setting
Interest and experience in providing supervision and training to practicum therapists and/or doctoral interns from a relational, use-of-self, and social justice model
Preference is given to candidates who have experience providing services to diverse populations, such as, but not limited to BIPOC students, international students, neurodiverse students, and LGBTQ+ community.
