The Treatment and Recovery Clinic is accepting applications to fill the position of Clinician / Counselor. This is a full-time

position with benefits and retirement.

Job Description

The TARC strives to provide a holistic approach to family healing and the development of associated competencies through

the use of Behavioral Health Services, Substance Use Disorder Treatment, Recovery Support Services, behavior specific

groups, and wrap around services to individuals in their community.

Duties / Responsibilities

Apply Clinical skills to assess client/family needs through the use of mental health disorder assessments and/or

substance use disorder assessments using State required tools;

Formulate assessment, prepares finding, diagnostic impressions and recommendations;

Provide individual, couples, group, and family behavioral health treatment to adolescents, adults, and families with

substance use disorder, mental health disorder, and co-occurring disorders to address and stabilize their recovery

efforts, in multiple locations;

Complete required documentation;

Must maintain good communication with client, family, co-workers, and community partners.

Qualifications

Must be licensed through the Idaho Board of Occupational Licensing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker;

Licensed Masters Social Worker;

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist;

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor; or

Licensed Professional Counselor.

Work and communicate with other professionals in an effective and professional manner;

Must have good time management skills and meet required deadlines;

Be able to work under stressful conditions;

Maintain CPR/ First Aid Certification;

Maintain a valid Idaho drivers license;

Professional written, communication, and computer skills;

And, the ability to talk and hear in person and on the telephone.

Must successfully pass a background investigation relevant to the position, including fingerprints and remain in good

standing for the duration of employment with the County.
