Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, preferably within the aerospace or military manufacturing industry. Key Job Duties:

  • Assemble complex mechanical components and subassemblies
  • Continuous Improvement: Verify the correctness of parts and materials prior to or during assembly.
  • Record and document all assembly and inspection activities.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment,participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety awareness.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and materials used.
  • Communicate effectively to report progress and issues related to assembly tasks.
  • Ensure the proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment used in assembly.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in mechanical assembly is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must have excellent eye-hand coordination, good dexterity to assemble small parts
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Other job duties may be assigned.
