Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, preferably within the aerospace or military manufacturing industry. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, contribute to groundbreaking technologies, and be a part of a collaborative environment that values expertise and innovation.

Key Job Duties:

• Assemble complex mechanical components and subassemblies
• Continuous Improvement: Verify the correctness of parts and materials prior to or during assembly.
• Record and document all assembly and inspection activities.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment,participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety awareness.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and materials used.
• Communicate effectively to report progress and issues related to assembly tasks.
• Ensure the proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment used in assembly.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in mechanical assembly is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must have excellent eye-hand coordination, good dexterity to assemble small parts
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Other job duties may be assigned.
