Manufacturing Assembler- $21- 24/hr- Start ASAP

Description:

Design West Technologies is a manufacturer of various military and defense products.

These products range from filters to rocket control modules.

Position is open due to an increase in demand they are expanding their manufacturing team.

Position is due to the nature of their products having high quality products is of the utmost importance.

Mechanical Assembler

Monday-Friday 1st Shift 5:00am-1:30pm no Over Time

Pay Rate: $21-$24

Job Duties:

1. Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks on a wide range of mechanical components and systems, such as engines, landing gear, hydraulics, and propulsion systems.

2. Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and testing of mechanical equipment to identify defects, malfunctions, or wear and tear. Ensure compliance with industry standards and military regulations.

3. Assembly and Installation: Assemble, install, and integrate mechanical components into aerospace systems, following blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications.

4. Calibration: Calibrate and adjust mechanical systems to meet precise specifications and operational requirements.

5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with documentation standards and military procedures.

6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, especially in the defense industry, to guarantee the highest level of safety for military personnel and equipment.

7. Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions, often under high-pressure situations.

8. Tool and Equipment Management: Manage, maintain, and ensure the proper use of specialized tools and equipment required for mechanical work.

9. Training and Support: Collaborate with engineers and provide technical support, training, and guidance to junior technicians and staff.

10. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all mechanical work meets stringent quality and performance standards, including testing for reliability in adverse conditions.

Best Vs Average Candidate:

• Ideal candidates will possess both mechanical and basic electromechanical assembly knowledge

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Assembly experience
