ZORESCO EQUIPMENT COMPANY Parts & Service Counterperson in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania

Role and Company Overview:

Zoresco is seeking to hire a Parts and Service Counterperson to act as a subject matter expert and liaison between customers and our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be well-organized, and be proficient in standard office software. Previous knowledge of vehicles and truck equipment is helpful.

Job Duties:

  • Assist customers at the counter by providing product information and pricing, identifying their needs, and making recommendations
  • Generate and process parts and service quotes
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing, and collaborate with sales team members to fulfill customer orders
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy and quality of products
  • Pick and pack orders for customer pickup or delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Stock shelves and organize inventory in the warehouse to maintain cleanliness and accessibility
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of packaging materials
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, such as conducting cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies
  • Maintain and schedule necessary activities with the Service Manager and warehouse personnel
  • Greet customers both on the phone and in person
  • Inform customers of the lead times for all their parts and repairs
  • Assist with all warranty issues and details

  • Office Setting as well as Shop Setting
  • Working around machinery and working parts

  • Warehouse with extreme temperature changes
  • Excessive and continuous noise

Requirements

 

Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in customer service and retail sales, preferably in an industrial or automotive setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in using computerized point-of-sale systems.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in standard office software: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Knowledge of vehicles and truck equipment a plus
  • Self-sufficient professional with a "make it happen" attitude
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and stand
  • Ability and desire to learn
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and substance screening
