Jackie Meza with Robert Half has an exciting opportunity in the finance sector, specifically seeking a Controller/Cost to be a part of our team based in Turlock, California. You will play a critical role in managing financial activities, including cost accounting and budgeting. This role is vital in our organization and will involve working with various accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to ensure accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of cost accounting within the organization

• Handle budgeting processes to ensure financial efficiency

• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial reporting

• Operate and maintain ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite for accurate financial management

• Prepare financial reports and present them to the management for strategic decision-making

• Ensure all accounting activities comply with financial regulations and standards

• Monitor financial data and create forecasts based on it

• Collaborate with other departments to understand and manage costs and expenses

• Regularly review the organization's financial status and prepare budget revisions if necessary

• Implement cost accounting systems and procedures to optimize costs and enhance financial performance.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.

• Must have a substantial understanding of Budget Processes.

• Prior experience in Cost Accounting is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
