R&D Functions are looking for Material Coordinator.

The R&D Material Coordinator for Radiometer works in close operation with the R&D Assay Development project teams, managing the material needs. This involves problem solving, cross-functional communication and taking new perspective using existing solutions and challenging the old ways to also improve our own processes. This position is part of the Radiometer Oy located in Turku, Finland. The position is temporary, and the estimated duration of the temporary contract is until December 2025. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the Company location identified above and part-time remotely from your home. You will be a part of the Assay Development AURA team and report to the Senior Manager, Assay Development AURA. You will be responsible for coordinating between the project leaders, Supply Chain & Logistics department, and the suppliers. Furthermore, the position involves monitoring the development project budged, defining material needs for the projects, ordering materials using our existing material order processes and managing the inventory levels in the R&D department. Material Coordinator will also take part in creating and documenting new process for R&D material needs and orders. We can promise that the tasks will bring a new lesson every day.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or in other suitable field.

  • Excellent coordination skills and experience in effective cross-functional communication.

  • Understanding of the materials ordering processes.

  • Fluent English (proficient in written and spoken language).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Previous experience working in a regulated industry.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.

  • Readiness to communicate own ideas and issues in teamwork environment, good teamwork skills.
