Cadence Bank Software Development Team Lead/APPLI002905/Tupelo in Tupelo, Mississippi

This position is for a Software Development Team Lead with a company located in Tupelo.

Summary: Technology Manager that provides operational leadership for the team responsible for procurement, development, deployment, operation and maintenance of all business software applications for a rapidly growing, mid-sized $16 billion regional bank. This is a Hybrid position that must sit in Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX, Birmingham, AL, or Tupelo, MS.

Responsibilities and Duties: Procures, tests, deploys and operates third party software applications to support all enterprise functions and all individual business units. Specific applications include, but are not limited to, core systems, document and workflow management, internal and external web applications, money movement and CRM. Establishes, monitors and reports compliance with Service Level Agreements and customer impacting defect thresholds. Develops low-scale, limited purpose internal applications, file movement utilities and low-scale middleware integration layers using .NET platform. Provides proactive support such as patching and upgrades for applications. Maintains and operates the Business Managed Information Technology (BMIT) program that enforces technical standards and provides operational support and oversight to trained business unit employees who perform application management and support functions for individual software applications. Operates the application Problem Management process, incorporating data, trends and specific incidents into service and stability improvements. Creates and maintains standards for programming, software engineering, deployment, maintenance and application support activities in alignment with industry standards such as ITIL and COBIT, established SDLC principles and applicable OCC regulations. Define and execute test scripts for both new, modified and existing (regression) software applications. Collaborates with Technology Strategy and Architecture to develop short and long-range application portfolio and strategic technical direction including cost/benefit analysis of refining/updating existing technologies or adopting new technologies. Maintains close working and collaborative relationships with other departmental teams and managers to understand business unit goals and requirements.

Candidate Qualifications and Education: 5-10 years of financial services technology experience with emphasis on full life cycle software application management (internally developed and third-party integration) and collaboration with  multiple levels of technology professionals. Proficiency with .NET stack, Angular, Azure DevOps, Microservices, and Agile Environment heavily preferred. Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business or similar discipline. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proven experience building and leading high performing direct and virtual teams across multiple locations, time zones and organizational boundaries. Ability to work collaboratively with peers, both as a leader and a participant/follower without regard to hierarchy. Ability to make critical decisions in a fast paced and changing environment, and work independently.
