Montrose Environmental Group LLC Grant Manager in Tumwater, Washington

ABOUT YOUWe have an exciting, new opportunity for a Grant Manager supporting our Analytical Environmental Services (AES) team, a subsidiary of Montrose Environmental Group, the premier environmental services provider. The Grant Manager at AES liaisons with Native American tribal government clients to lead the grant writing, grant application and monitoring process, and research to identify potential new funding sources for infrastructure and capital improvement projects (examples: water supply, wastewater treatment, electrification, roads and renewable power projects). Day to day responsibilities include providing guidance for grant writing, researching required documentation, proofing submittal narratives and budgets to ensure information is factual and valid, ensuring the documents are meeting the grant guidelines, and assisting with business development and marketing efforts related to grant funded projects.This role would ideally be based out of our Sacramento, CA office but could be based anywhere in the Untied States for the right candidate.WHAT WE CAN OFFER TO YOUAt Montrose, we're not just determined to think about a better way forward for environmental services today and down the road-we're committed to making it a reality. We care for the well-being of our people and offer:* Competitive compensation packages* Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage* Medical, Dependent Care and Transit Flexible Spending Accounts* Company paid Life and Disability Insurance and access to additional voluntary programs* 401k with a competitive employer match* Progressive vacation policies and company holiday to ensure work/life balance for our people* A financial assistance program to help support peers in need* Access to telemedicine and employee assistance programs* Access to best rates in the industry to bring your student loan debt down to sizeA DAY IN THE LIFEAs a Grant Manager at AES, you will be responsible for a full range of activities:* Define the overall grant strategy and process for AES in partnership with Native American Government clients* Liaison directly with tribal governments to assess needs and opportunities* Research and analyze grant-funding sources from federal, state, and local government agencies that directly relate to tribal governmental and infrastructure needs, especially related to capital improvements and infrastructure projects* Provide technical assistance and guidance in preparation of grants, assisting to determining eligibility* Prepare grant funding applications for submittal and assist with the preparation of quarterly or annual reports as required by granting agencies* Monitor and track grant compliance, review and facilitate proper reporting, and ensure other deadlines or requirements are met* Create and maintain all grant application materials, reporting materials, templates, grant letters, grant agreements, etc.* Assist with business development strategies related to grant opportunities with the BIA, DOI, BLM, USFWS, and FHWA* Present grant workshops to tribal clients to educate on grant opportunities and eligibility* Ensure the integrity and completeness of all documents with strong QA/QC procedures* Maintain confidentiality at all times* Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs* Participate in the company's continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts* Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing profes
