Hilton Sales Manager - DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tulsa - Warren Place and Downtown in Tulsa, Oklahoma

The beautiful Doubletree's of Tulsa are adding a Complex Sales Manager to their team to focus on their SMERF Market! This is a great opportunity to work for 2 amazing hotels that boasts a combined 778 rooms and 46,592 square feet of meeting space!

Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Tulsa - Warren Place: We’re in Warren Place, next to LaFortune Park with tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course. Downtown, Tulsa Expo Center, and Tulsa International Airport TUL are a 15-minute drive. Southern Hills Country Club, University of Oklahoma, and Saint Francis Hospital are within two miles. What will I be doing?

Research,solicitand generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizingnew room revenuestreams, tomeetandexceed lead generation goals.

Represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships whilemaintainingexisting relations with assigned accounts.strives to maximize revenueand profitabilityfor all hotel revenue streams.

Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical,currentand future hotelandmarket trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture themaximumamount of lead revenuetomeetandexceed sales goals.

This role requiresstrongsales, communication, and networking skills.The ability todemonstratea deep understanding of customer needsand then apply a disciplinedapproach to qualify, negotiateand securenew revenue for the hotel.

Customer and Account Management - Apply strong sales skills to create customer value. Differentiate Hilton from the competitionand bring clear value to customers and the organizations theyrepresent.

Prospecting - Demonstrate a mastery of the prospecting process. Identify potential customers. Prepare and implement your call strategy.

Negotiations - Understand the customer and the business expectations. Adapt to a changing market .

Position Summary

As a Team Member in this role, you will be responsible to: 

Customer and Account Management :

Actively engage withHilton Worldwide Sales,ConventionBureauandIntermediariestoretainexisting customersand secure new business for the Hotel.

Develop and execute plans to engage inoutside sales calls,industrytradeshows and customer events.

Develop,executeand communicatea monthly,quarterlyand annual business plan fora designated market.

Maintainpipelineof businessopportunities that will meet thebusinessobjectivesfor the designated market.

Represent hotel inallinteractions dealing withtheircustomersrelativeto sales, includingcreating business proposalsand executing contracts.

Conduct site inspectionsthrough masterful story tellingwithprospective and existingcustomersbased on their individual needs.

Coordinate customer specifications (including room, food and beverage and meeting space requirements) via identified lead management system. Enter andmaintainpertinent account and booking information in Delphi FDCin accordance withdefined standards.

Prospecting:

Research,solicitand generate new leads forbusinessopportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizingnew room revenue and meetandexceed lead generation goals.

Create and executeto shift share from your competitors.

Engage in outside sales activities touncoverneeds, build relationshipsandtowin new business.

Negotiations:

Negotiate contractsand commission agreementswithend user customers andintermediaries.

Provide solutions thatbothachieve andprotect the financial goals of the hotelwhilestrengtheningrelationships with customers.

EngageHilton Worldwide Sales and Hilton Legal to support the contracting process when needed.
