Kelly Services Research Lab Coordinator in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Research Lab Coordinator near Tulsa, OK.
Temporary 3 months
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Compensation: DOE
Summary: The Research Lab Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing various operations necessary for the successful completion of research trials.
General Responsibilities:
Maintain the highest levels of professionalism and ethics while presenting a positive attitude to clients
Follow all SOPs, unless superseded by sponsor SOPs
Ensure workspaces and equipment are clean and in working order; report any issues to Site Managers
Assist with supply management as directed
Study Start-Up Activities:
Collaborate with the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) and study team to review lab manuals/package inserts to determine appropriate laboratory requirements
Order, receive, inventory, and store lab kits prior to study start
Re-order lab supplies as needed and in a timely manner
Ensure ancillary lab supplies are on hand prior to study start
Ensure lab manual availability before study start
Review and train on lab manuals, flow charts, and applicable package inserts for CLIA waived tests before study start
Study Conduct:
Collect, process, store, and package biological specimens for shipment as described in the study protocol and lab manual
Confirm and document daily that onsite laboratory samples are maintained at appropriate temperatures, and report any issues immediately
Schedule or deliver packaged samples for pick-up by the appropriate courier as stipulated by protocol
Print lab reports and route to the appropriate binder for Investigator Signature
Maintain access to lab portals, resolving queries promptly
File signed lab reports in the appropriate section of the subject binder
Ensure repeat labs or referrals are brought to the CRC’s attention
Record accurate study data in the appropriate source documents
Maintain records of all studies with samples onsite and their specific requirements
Assist CRC in lab-related study close-out procedures
Assist with other study-related procedures as delegated
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent phlebotomy skills
Experience with lab processing (preferred)
Ability to follow exact instructions
Knowledge of OSHA requirements
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
Phlebotomy certification and/or experience (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Ability to handle dry ice with appropriate precautions
