Job Title: Rapid Response Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a Rapid Response Mechanic who is adept at performing Material Review Board (MRB) work statements at the end of line (EOL) and final product verification (FPV) on off shifts. The role primarily involves working on sheet metal components and major structures of the Boeing 737, performing modifications and assembly. The candidate will also be required to move around different sections to address and rectify issues or rework as needed. This position demands flexibility and the ability to work independently, providing support wherever necessary. The mechanic will be responsible for assembling, installing, sealing, rigging, inspecting, and completing precision and other structural and system components, working from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established processes and procedures. The candidate will also be tasked with functional testing and correcting the fit, form, and function of assemblies and components.

Hard Skills

• Modifications on sheet metal products

• Major aircraft sheet metal assembly

• Riveting, hiloks, and rigging

• A&P experience with sheet metal

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently

• Flexibility

• Ability to provide support wherever needed

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wichita, Kansas.

Work Environment

The role is based in a busy manufacturing facility where candidates will spend the majority of their shift on their feet. No tools are required for this position.jo
