Description

Robert Half is presently looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant contractor specializing in the manufacturing industry for an interim role in Tukwila, WA. If you are an experienced accountant with a knack for problem-solving, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Duties:

• Participate in the creation and consolidation of financial statements

• Engage in complex financial analysis activities

• Examine and evaluate accounting and internal control systems

• Monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports)

• Assist in coordinating quarterly review and SOX testing with internal and external bodies

• Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet fluctuation analysis for management reporting

• Provide financial support and analysis to manufacturing operations teams

• Support budget and forecasting activities

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years experience in general accounting

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required

• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel

• Strong working knowledge of GAAP

• Highly detail-oriented, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• General Accounting: 5+ years (required)

• Manufacturing industry: 3+ years (preferred)

• Excel and ERP Systems: 3+ years (preferred)
