Description

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in Tucson, Arizona, for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. As a part of our team in the Construction/Contractor industry, you will be tasked with maintaining precise financial records, handling customer inquiries, and overseeing customer accounts with a keen eye. Part-Time hours, 16 - 24 hours per week, flexible on days (no weekends).

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial transactions in QuickBooks with efficiency and accuracy.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and data management.

• Oversee and maintain the General Ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status.

• Provide assistance with customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

• Process credit applications of customers meticulously.

• Ensure all customer credit records are up-to-date and accurate.

• Contribute to the maintenance of a stable work environment.

Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must-have for the role.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.

• Must be adept at using spreadsheet software for data management and analysis.

• Familiarity with General Ledger accounting procedures is required.

• Previous experience in a similar role within the Construction/Contractor industry is preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
