Operations and Supply Chain offers an excellent opportunity to join our diverse, and collaborative environment in support of the dynamic and growth-oriented Energetics Procurement Department, which manages the following technologies: Warheads, Radar Electronics, Batteries, Fuses, Pyros, Composites, and Containers. In this role, you will foster relationship with suppliers, administer subcontracts in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, and product support. You will also work in a dynamic growth-oriented environment that supports a broad portfolio of programs across multiple Mission Areas.

What You Will Do:

• Manage Supplier Relationships, Development, and Performance

• Drive the success of meeting business factory MRP and financial requirements.

• Drive the success for metrics, Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc.

• Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements to drive flawless supplier execution for RMD programs and projects.

• Perform subcontract management of high dollar purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements.

• Primary capabilities in subcontract management such as the following will be needed:

• Preparation of all manner of solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQ

• Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques.

• Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms)

• Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity

• Perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems.

• Travel to Raytheon Technologies and supplier facilities as deemed necessary and appropriate to conduct business - Typical travel may be monthly or quarterly.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, space, aviation, power generation or automotive.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field

• Analyzing Cost and Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance

• Ability to successfully execute a competitive procurement including development of evaluation criteria

• Ability to understand technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review

• Ability to process information and manage multiple conflicting priorities to drive to successful outcome (i.e., multi-task)

• Demonstrated experience in placing Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity.

• Experienced in contributing to the successful completion of a project which enhanced performance within an area of responsibility

• SAP based environment experience

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
