Brief Department Description

The Raytheon Facilities Customer Relations Manager (CRM) is primarily responsible for aligning the business unit construction project demand with the Facilities & Real Estate Enterprise Services annual operating plan and initiating preconstruction activities. The CRM is the main point of contact between Raytheon Strategic Business Units (SBUs), Functional Organizations (FOs) POCs, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and Facilities & Real Estate Enterprise Services leadership.

What you will do:

The Facilities & Real Estate CRM needs to be self-motivated, customer-centric, have a strong history or knowledge related to construction project planning, initiation, and/or execution. They also need to carry a blend of a strategic and tactical mindset.

Responsibilities include understanding business unit strategic plans, participating in long range project planning with business unit partners, and managing the project submission process for Facilities & Real Estate. The day-to-day activities include leading regularly cadenced meetings to discuss project prioritization, discreet project planning and development including scope, cost, schedule refinement with key stakeholders, high-level estimating support, and financial record keeping with project analysts.

Responsibilities Core Day to Day

  • Manage the online project submission portal

  • Represent Facilities in BU Long Range planning discussions

  • Lead customer meetings discussing project statuses, and drive the team to key deliverable dates

  • Influence the project planning process with internal and external stakeholders

  • Coordinate the project funding process gaining approval to move from planning to execution

  • Create and maintain standard reports for customers and Facilities & Real Estate leadership

Travel Requirements-

  • some travel domestically is anticipated

Qualifications you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience gained in Facilities, Engineering, Operations or Construction, or related work setting.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with leadership, individual contributors, and customers.

  • At least 5 years managing facility construction projects to include general knowledge of construction project processes, terminology, scope, cost, schedule, quality.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Education Experience Skills and Certifications

  • This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Facilities, Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related field and 8 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience equivalent combination of work experience and schooling in lieu of type of degree.

Required Security Clearance (If applicable)

  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Immigration Status (work authorization see below)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools/sites that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Current Active Secret Clearance or above

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate requirements and expectations to a cross-functional group both verbally and in written form.

  • Project Management professional with direct experience managing or planning construction projects.

  • Cost estimating experience.

  • Managerial accounting experience.

  • This is a hybrid position based in the Tucson, AZ, metropolitan area.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
