About the Position

The Nursing Instructional Faculty performs a variety of instructional duties while adhering to the rules of the Arizona State Board of Nursing. Instructional Faculty teach and work a set schedule over a nine-month academic year, August through May, which could include day, evening, night, and weekend duties. This position is a full-time nursing instructor that may be used in the classroom, in skills labs, simulation, and in the clinical setting. The selected candidate may be used in any teaching modality necessary to achieve the Nursing Program\'s goals.

Nursing Instructional Faculty functions within he Associate Degree in Nursing Program and seeks to support a student-centered learning environment focused on helping nursing students achieve their educational goals. Nursing Instructional Faculty are allocated teaching responsibilities that achieve course, program, campus, and college outcomes. Nursing Faculty are actively engaged in community outreach, curriculum development, and evaluation of student learning outcomes. They contribute to the change processes driven by college, campus, and program strategic plans. Nursing Instructional Faculty reports directly to the Dean of Health Professions.

There are multiple positions available beginning the 2024-25 academic year. Faculty teach and work a set schedule over a nine-month academic year, August-May, that could include day, evening, and weekend duties. This position is expected to be able to work at various campuses, focused on the West and Desert Vista sites.
