We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to transport, load, unload, and store materials within the warehouse or distribution facility. This position requires an individual with attention to safety protocols and the ability to perform tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $16 - $17 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products to various areas within the warehouse.

• Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and containers.

• Stack and store products in the designated storage areas in an organized manner.

• Ensure inventory is accurately recorded and stored.

• Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.

• Assist with order picking and staging for shipments.

• Ensure the proper handling and movement of products, materials, and goods.

• Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.

• Work closely with warehouse management and team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

• Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

• Use scanning systems and computers to track and manage inventory and materials.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
