Job Description

• Providing primary engineering expertise for plant group, including technical evaluations, economic analysis, drawing and document preparation.

• Coordinate and control the assigned projects.

• Participate in the design and implementation of the group responsibility training.

• Assist the Superintendent or Plant Manager with the O&M and Capital budgeting and budget adherence. To develop accurate and comprehensive budgets and monitor them for adherence.

• To supervise or perform equipment testing, and performance monitoring or testing throughout the plant. Collect, evaluate, and provide equipment recommendations on a routine or as-needed basis.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study

• 3+ years experience in a plant environment

• Experience with switchgears, breakers, generators (turbine for example), high voltage & medium voltage

• Local to Tucson or can relocate to Tucson!! - Experience with motor starters, frequency drives, control valves, substation to some degree null
