LOCATION: Tucson Hospitality House -1002 N. Main Ave
STATUS: FT/40 Hours- Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Graduate/GED
Able to use a manual and electric pallet jack
Able to work occasional weekends
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, displaying positive attitude
Maintain effective relationships with donors, participants, and vendors
Successful completion of Driver Safety Training
Successful Background Clearance
Valid Arizona Driver’s License
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pick up and deliver various donated items from vendors, food bank, local restaurants, water drives, back to school supplies, toys, items needed from office supply, events, general errands, and SOS kits
Pick up and deliver Pima County applications, contracts, and fully executed contracts to various fundings sources during renewal time, for those requiring hand delivery
Handle loading and unloading of pallets and product donations and deliveries to the kitchen, Corps, Warehouse Storage areas immediately upon collection,
Complete weekly, the Preventative Maintenance Logs for all vehicles located on HH property
Deliver & pick up mail from post office box, drop off outgoing packages to Fed Ex, UPS
Handle vehicle emissions testing, and trips to DMV for plate renewal, disability plate requests, etc.
Handle driving and distribution of water and items to parks during Operation Chill Out.
Follow safety procedures loading, unloading with donated and collected items
Complete Daily Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspection forms on all DOT regulated vehicles
Sweep and clean vehicle after each use, wiping up food spills and remove any trash daily
Take company vehicles to car wash as needed
Disconnect batteries from vehicles not in service for periods of time, handle jump starts when necessary and battery replacement
Ensure gas cards are stored and properly returned to each vehicle in the fleet after use
Track mileage using vehicle mileage log in all vehicles driven, turn in monthly or when full
Follow all local traffic regulations while driving
Report any mechanical problems immediately to supervisor
Inspect vehicle before each usage for any bodily damage, report to supervisor
Assist with continual organization of donated items within storage/warehouse including rotation, soda stocking, dump runs when needed at HH, includes backlot area
Handle toy pickups from malls and various collection sites, canned food drive pickups during the holiday season
Assist with set up for special events and programs, occasionally during the weekend
Keep water and items stocked in Employee Breakroom
Assist with storage organization at the South Service Center/Warehouse
Assistance in general facility maintenance as needed
Attend all staff meetings and trainings as directed
Other duties as it relates to the position of Driver
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
