$30,000 Sign On Bonus for eligible, experienced OR RN's!

Full Time schedule in the Main OR at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson - weekend days and Monday evening shift.

Northwest Medical Center has 16 OR's and performs highly specialized cutting edge procedures AND minimally invasive procedures. Join a team of surgical professionals who are performing new cutting edge procedures and taking great care of our patients before and after their procedures.

The CNL Clinical Nurse Leader is the acting charge nurse responsible for running the Main OR's schedule. They handle add-on procedures and coordination of the daily activities. The CNL works closely with the OR Manager and Director to ensure efficiency and safety meeting the needs of the surgical patient.

The Clinical Nurse Leader is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the coordination and effective operation of the unit on the assigned shift. CNL Performs duties in the nursing capacity as needed and is qualified. Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.

Requires a registered nurses license and experience in the operating room

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required : Associates or Diploma in nursing program

Preferred : Bachelor's degree in nursing

Experience :

Clinical experience in OR required

Licenses/Certifications:

Required:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS
