Description

We are seeking a Business Manager to join our client's team in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive financial decision-making, lead accounting operations, and collaborate with supply chain teams. Additionally, you will oversee financial aspects of HR functions, ensuring efficient resource allocation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Drive financial decision-making by providing expert analysis, forecasting, and guidance, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with organizational goals.

• Lead all aspects of accounting operations including financial reporting, month-end close, and audit preparation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.

• Collaborate with supply chain teams to integrate financial considerations into procurement strategies, inventory management, and cost reduction initiatives.

• Oversee financial aspects of HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, and budgeting, ensuring efficient resource allocation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Conduct account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Prepare and post journal entries in the general ledger.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting.

• Conduct month-end close procedures.

• Perform bookkeeping duties as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar position

• Proven proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations

• Strong working knowledge of General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• Previous experience in Bookkeeping is desirable

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience
